Delinquent Tax Collection Services

The Cameron County tax office in Harlingen, Texas is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive delinquent tax collection services. The agency needs to solve the problem of unpaid taxes by expediting collections through legal action, taxpayer notifications, and reporting. The selected partner will prepare delinquent tax reports and updates based on data provided by the county tax office. The scope of work covers preparing and sending legally required and advisable notices to delinquent taxpayers to expedite collections. The agency requires the vendor to file lawsuits against delinquent taxpayers to foreclose tax liens and otherwise facilitate collection. Additionally, the vendor must advise the district on legal issues arising during the collection process, including all new legislation for current and delinquent tax collections. The agency limits eligibility to onshore organizations based in the United States. The project allows for offsite performance of the requested work. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for budget proposals rather than specifying a set budget.
