The agency is trying to solve the challenge of meeting both non-medical and medical home care needs for clients residing within the local jurisdiction. The selected providers will establish a contract to deliver these essential services directly to clients in their homes. The scope of work covers personal care such as bathing, grooming, and dressing, as well as general assistance with activities of daily living. Providers must also deliver meal preparation, feeding assistance, light housekeeping, medication reminders, companionship, and transportation to appointments. Additionally, the requested services encompass skilled nursing care to address the medical needs of the clients. Only organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency requires the performance of the work to take place offsite at the residences of the clients. The agency is looking for budget proposals from bidders to establish the cost of these services. The contract period will span two years from the date of award.
