On-Demand Transportation Service

The government authority in Minneapolis, Minnesota requires a vendor to provide a gap cab on-demand transportation service. The agency needs to ensure safe, timely transportation for students to and from schools using vehicles equipped with operational GPS units and dual-facing cameras. Drivers must arrive at schools at the scheduled morning and afternoon times, and they must not release students prior to the scheduled morning arrival time. The scope of work includes providing a dedicated phone line or number for the district and allowing the combination of non-sibling students attending different schools on a single trip if it does not impact scheduled times. The selected provider must grant the district daily access to no load reporting. Additionally, the agency requires immediate notification of all complaints and allegations involving personnel, as well as notification and a completed report within twenty-four hours for any accidents or incidents involving personal injury or property damage. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based solely in the United States. The performance of all transportation work must occur onsite within the local district. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and has set a deadline of June 12, 2026, for the submission of all questions.
