Transportation Services for Fixed Routes

The government authority in South Carolina is seeking a vendor to provide safe, reliable, and efficient fixed-route public transportation services. The agency needs to solve the challenge of operating and managing a fixed-route system by outsourcing the entire operational infrastructure. The selected partner must supply all personnel, supervision, vehicles, dispatching, scheduling, administration, and operational support. The scope of work covers the operation of an approximately 13.0-mile route running Monday through Friday, excluding County-recognized holidays. The agency requires the provider to supply and maintain its own routing, dispatching, scheduling, and billing systems. These systems must track vehicle miles, vehicle hours, passenger trips, and passenger miles, while also producing operational and financial reports and maintaining records for reimbursement requests and grant reporting. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States, and the performance of the work must take place onsite in South Carolina.
