Sludge Cake Transportation and Disposal Services

The Town of Yarmouth, Massachusetts is seeking a contractor to provide sludge cake transportation and disposal services. The selected vendor must transport and dispose of up to 2,500 wet tons of sludge cake per year from the government facility located in South Yarmouth. The sludge produced by the facility contains approximately twenty percent solids and consists of a mixture of primary sludge, waste-activated sludge, and septage. The town maintains significant on-site storage capacity for the sludge. All hauling operations must comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including Department of Transportation requirements related to transportation, vehicle safety, and spillage control. The performance of the work will take place onsite, and the contract period will run for one year. Eligibility is restricted to onshore, United States-based entities only. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or online, and the town is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget.
