Alternative Student Transportation Services

The Jefferson County government authority in Colorado is seeking alternative student transportation services to support students whose needs cannot be fully met through traditional district transportation methods. The agency requires safe, reliable, and compliant transportation solutions for these students. The selected provider must perform all administrative work offsite from their own office location. The scope of work requires that all vehicles utilized in the performance of services meet or exceed established company safety standards and all applicable regulatory requirements. Additionally, the agency requires all drivers to successfully complete background checks and meet all licensing and training requirements for student transportation. The provider must also supply an online portal that the agency can use for creating or amending rides. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and cost structure for these services. Clarification questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted to the agency no later than June 8, 2026.
