Towing and Wrecker Services

The Fulton County Department of Real Estate and Asset Management requires continuous towing and wrecker services for the county fleet. The agency needs these services twenty-four hours a day, seven days per week, covering areas inside and outside the Metropolitan Atlanta area to any Fulton County facility. The selected contractor must perform all work onsite and maintain a physical presence within the United States, as only onshore bidders are eligible for this opportunity. The scope of work covers light-duty, medium-duty, and heavy-duty towing services, tire changing, lock-out assistance, and battery charging or starting services. The agency requires an approved light-duty tow truck capable of towing vehicles with a combined gross vehicle weight of fourteen thousand pounds or less. For larger vehicles, the contractor must provide an approved medium-duty tow truck with a capacity to tow vehicles weighing between ten thousand and one and twenty-five thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine pounds. Contractors may utilize a wheel lift to transport vehicles or equipment during these operations. The agency assumes no liability for any loss, breakage, or damage to tools, materials, supplies, vehicles, or equipment owned by the contractor or its agents. The contract period will span one year, and the agency is currently seeking proposals to determine the budget. Representatives from the agency will host a pre-bid meeting on June 9, 2026. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this procurement no later than June 16, 2026.
