Towing and Wrecker Services

The Fulton County government authority in Georgia is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive towing and wrecker services. The agency requires these services twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, covering areas both inside and outside Metropolitan Atlanta. Through this procurement, the agency aims to secure reliable light-duty, medium-duty, and heavy-duty towing, as well as roadside assistance including tire changes, lockout assistance, and battery charging or starting. The scope of work requires the contractor to supply specific equipment to handle various vehicle weights. The agency requires an approved light-duty tow truck capable of towing vehicles with a combined gross vehicle weight of 14,000 pounds or less. For larger vehicles, the contractor must provide an approved medium-duty tow truck with the capacity to tow vehicles weighing between 10,001 and 25,999 pounds. Eligible bidders must perform all onsite work within the United States. The agency is establishing a contract period of one year. While the agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is instead looking for proposals, it has scheduled a pre-bid meeting for June 9, 2026.
