Student Transportation Services

The Weymouth School Department in Massachusetts requires daily student transportation services for each day school is in session. The agency is seeking a contractor to provide these services, which cover regular school days as well as special programs such as before and after school activities, recreation, summer school, and other town programs. The agency will only pay for days when schools are actually in session, and any cessation of sessions relieves the school department from payment obligations for the affected days and schools. The selected contractor must furnish fully and properly licensed drivers to operate all buses used in carrying out the transportation services. Regular and substitute drivers must be qualified through a course of instruction in school bus operations that complies with the most recent regulations of the Registry of Motor Vehicles. The agency requires all work to be performed offsite, and only organizations based in the United States are eligible to participate. The agency is seeking proposals to determine the budget for this contract. Prospective bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 8, 2026.
