Campus Shuttle Bus Service

Ramapo College in Mahwah, New Jersey is seeking a contractor to provide a campus shuttle bus service using suitable vehicles and drivers at the contractor's sole expense. The agency needs to solve its campus transportation requirements by securing reliable transit operations with real-time tracking capabilities. The scope of work covers operating handicap-accessible buses newer than a 2020 model according to schedules determined by the college and approved by the contractor. The current schedule for the first shuttle begins at 7:00 AM and ends at 10:45 PM on all weekdays. The contractor must provide the college's designated shuttle supervisor with a telephone number to contact the dispatcher for real-time transit and arrival information. The dispatcher must be able to provide the shuttle and driver location within five minutes or less of receiving a call. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. While the driving service occurs on and around the campus in Mahwah, New Jersey, the administrative performance of the work and office operations will be conducted offsite at the contractor's office location. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this service. Bidders must submit all questions no later than June 1, 2026.
