Vacant Lots and Rights of Way Mowing Services

The City of Temple, Texas, is seeking a qualified vendor to provide vacant lots and rights of way mowing services for properties under the supervision of the District Services department. The agency is trying to ensure aesthetic quality, promote grass and plant health, and support environmental sustainability across all specified locations using general funds. The scope of work requires mowing to be completed on a monthly basis from January through December to a height of two and one-half inches. The project covers vacant lots and rights of way, but shredding is not acceptable at any location. The agency permits chemical applications to control weed growth specifically in expansion joints of concrete trails, sidewalks, parking lots, and along street curbs where the curbs meet asphalt. All performance of the work will take place offsite at the designated properties in Temple, Texas. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and will accept bid responses digitally via email or online. The agency has scheduled a non-mandatory, voluntary onsite pre-proposal conference for May 27, 2026, and requires all questions to be submitted no later than June 10, 2026.
