Employee Benefits Brokerage Consulting and Services

The Ascension Parish government authority in Gonzales, Louisiana is seeking a qualified insurance broker to provide employee benefits brokerage consulting and services. The agency needs to design, market, improve, and maintain compliance for its employee benefits program. Through this partnership, the agency aims to implement an effective benefits and insurance program, obtain creative and innovative solutions, and develop short- and long-range cost-saving strategies. The scope of work requires the selected broker to place insurance policies in a timely manner with reputable, financially responsible insurers to prevent any lapses in coverage. The broker must deliver regular, in-depth reports analyzing existing costs and projecting future costs, including employee benefit costs, claim costs, stop-loss details, and funding requirements. Additionally, the broker must communicate with insurance carriers to resolve coverage and claims issues, while assisting the agency with Affordable Care Act, COBRA, HIPAA, Department of Labor, and ERISA compliance and reporting. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency will allow the work to be performed either onsite in Gonzales, Louisiana, or offsite. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and cost structure for these services. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 04, 2026.
