Occupational Health Services

The Township of Wayne, New Jersey, requires a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive occupational health services for its municipal workforce. The agency is seeking these services to conduct mandatory pre-employment physicals and screenings for various employee classifications. The scope of work covers three distinct categories of pre-employment examinations, all of which must include a medical history, physical exam, audiometric testing, and a basic eye exam. For white-collar clerical positions, the required examination consists of a medical history, physical exam, audiogram, basic eye exam, urinalysis, five-panel non-DOT drug screening with collection and testing included, breath alcohol testing, and an electrocardiogram. For blue-collar labor positions, the agency requires a medical history, physical exam, audiogram, basic eye exam, urinalysis, five-panel DOT drug screening with collection and testing included, and breath alcohol testing. For firefighters and first aid members, the pre-employment exam is limited to a medical history, physical exam, audiogram, and basic eye exam. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore, United States-based organizations. The selected vendor must perform all services offsite at the vendor's own established office location. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget for these services, and all questions regarding this procurement must be submitted no later than May 25, 2026.
