Therapeutic Day Treatment Services

The Caroline County Public Schools authority in Bowling Green, Virginia is seeking a provider to deliver therapeutic day treatment services to eligible students within the classroom and school setting. The agency needs to address student behavioral and emotional challenges by providing evaluation, medication education, management opportunities, and counseling. This program aims to help students learn and enhance daily living, social, and interpersonal skills, including anger management, impulse control, self-regulation, appropriate self-expression, problem-solving, and focus. The scope of work requires the provider to deliver individual, group, and family counseling while consulting regularly with school administrators, psychologists, social workers, counselors, and teachers. The provider must design a plan to offer these therapeutic services to a limited number of non-Medicaid eligible students alongside Medicaid-eligible students. Additionally, the provider must detail a supervision plan that maintains a staff-to-student ratio of no more than one to six per group. The agency requires the provider to submit detailed monthly summary reports to the Coordinator of Student Support Services to track service plan implementation, quality of care, and outcome progress. Eligible providers must perform the work offsite and be located onshore within the United States. The agency is requesting budget proposals for a contract period of one year, and all questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted no later than May 22, 2026.
