Professional Engineering Consulting Services

The Capital District Transportation Authority in Albany, New York is seeking professional engineering consulting services to improve four intersections along a city street near Riverside Park. The agency aims to enhance safety, accessibility, connectivity, speed reduction, wayfinding, green infrastructure, transit and bicycle facilities, and pedestrian traffic signals. The selected consultant must perform all work onsite in Albany, New York. The scope of work requires data collection, analysis, and the creation of an existing conditions report based on necessary physical surveys. The consultant must also develop schematic designs and alternative analyses, which must include all required maps, tables, data, and written discussions. Additionally, the agency requires the consultant to facilitate public meetings and develop final preliminary designs for each intersection based on the preferred schematic design selection. Only organizations based onshore in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency is currently looking for budget proposals and has not disclosed a pre-set funding limit.
