Professional Land Use Plan Review and Construction Inspections Services

The City of Somersworth, New Hampshire is seeking professional land use plan review and construction inspections services to ensure all local development projects meet or exceed municipal standards. The agency needs to solve the problem of verifying that submitted subdivision and site plans conform with all local, state, and federal ordinances and regulations. To address this, the agency requires professional engineering reviews that identify missing, incorrect, or incomplete information in developer applications and provide corrective recommendations. The scope of work covers detailed reviews of soils information, storm water drainage, roadway design, utility layout and design, landscaping, traffic studies, parking studies, and architectural elevations. The selected partner must also conduct field inspections of proposed sites and provide ongoing construction field inspections and project oversight. Additionally, the inspector must remain available to consult with developers and site contractors throughout the construction process. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency allows the plan review portion of the work to be performed offsite, though the inspection portion requires physical presence at the local project sites. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for cost proposals from interested bidders.
