Professional Engineering Services

The Michigan government authority is seeking a vendor to provide professional engineering services to upgrade existing traffic signal equipment. The project covers surveying, soil boring for traffic signals, preparing construction plans, and generating Merl engineer estimates in both PDF and XML formats. The selected provider will also prepare proposals, secure permits, and assist the agency during both the letting and construction phases. The design scope includes upgrading to a 16-load switch base-mounted controller cabinet, traffic and pedestrian heads, and pedestrian push-button actuation if necessary. The agency also requires embedded loop or camera design if necessary, illuminated case signs, a box span wire display, signal support poles and supporting structures if necessary, and overhead illuminated street name signs. All work must be performed onsite at the Michigan location. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is looking for budget proposals to determine the cost of the project. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 10, 2026.
