Micro surfacing Project Services

The City of Redwood, California is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive micro surfacing project services to improve and maintain its municipal street infrastructure. The agency requires a contractor to handle all phases of the street resurfacing process, beginning with resident notification and traffic control. The selected provider must also install best management practices for storm water management and perform site clean-up upon completion. The scope of work covers roadway grinding and paving, asphalt concrete spot reconstruction and dig outs, and the resurfacing of City streets with micro surfacing. Physical infrastructure improvements include the removal of existing sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and curb ramps, followed by the installation of new compliant sidewalks and curb ramps. Additionally, the project requires the adjustment of utility lids to the new grade, the removal of old sign posts and signs, and the installation of new signs, sign posts, roadway markings, and striping. The agency also requires the installation of Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons to enhance pedestrian safety. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based entirely in the United States. Although the physical construction occurs on City streets, the agency specifies that the administrative and organizational performance of the work will be offsite at the vendor's office location. The agency has not disclosed a set budget and is currently looking for proposals to determine the project cost.
