Facilities Construction and Management Services

The Utah Division of Facilities Construction and Management is seeking a vendor to provide facilities construction and management services for a 42,429 rentable square foot, single-story building in West Valley City, Utah. The agency needs to evaluate multiple programming scenarios for the campus, ranging from a full-scale remodel to the minimum efforts necessary for the Department of Health and Human Services to operate. The selected vendor will determine the exact extent of these scenarios after the contract award. The scope of work includes constructing a vault or large secure area for vital records equipped with specialized fire suppression. The agency requires a front reception area with bullet-resistant glass and walls, a security booth with a camera viewing station, and access controls on all exterior doors and designated interior doors. The project also demands interior and exterior security cameras, tiered security measures to separate staff by organizational unit, and an interior climate-controlled medication storage room. The facility must accommodate a warehouse space of approximately 18,000 to 20,000 square feet, which may require a rollup door measuring twelve to fourteen feet tall by twelve feet wide.
