Architectural and Engineering Services

The California government authority responsible for managing, maintaining, and operating Veterans Homes and Cemeteries statewide is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive architectural and engineering services. The agency requires these services to support its facilities through various project phases, ranging from initial planning to construction completion. The selected vendor will address compliance, design, and administrative needs across the state-managed veterans properties. The scope of work covers a broad range of technical and administrative tasks. The agency requires the vendor to perform reviews for Department of State Architect compliance regarding ADA access, as well as reviews for Health Care Access and Information compliance. Additionally, the vendor must prepare feasibility studies, constructability reviews, budget packages, and design documents including conceptual schemes, preliminary plans, and specifications. The requested services also encompass bidding support, construction administration, construction management, and project support. The vendor must conduct field investigations, observe work, attend project meetings, and produce studies, reports, shop drawing reviews, as-built drawings, and cost estimates. Performance of this work will take place onsite at the agency's locations. The agency is limiting eligibility to onshore organizations based in the United States. The contract period will span five years, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget.
