The government authority located in Tacoma, Washington is seeking a vendor to provide engineering services to complete water supply system improvements. The agency needs to solve the engineering, permitting, and construction challenges associated with upgrading its water distribution and pump infrastructure. The scope of work covers completing design documentation for pump replacement, permitting, bid assistance, construction administration, and related supplemental services. The project requires water distribution analysis, equipment sizing and capacity evaluation, facility design, and irrigation system integration and impacts. The selected vendor must integrate the new designs with the existing pump and distribution system that will remain in place. Specific engineering disciplines required include electrical engineering to analyze existing conditions and design potential pump upgrades, mechanical engineering to design booster pump stations and review submittal documents, and structural engineering to assess existing pump stations and design new pump items. The agency limits eligibility to onshore organizations based in the United States. The performing vendor will conduct the work offsite. The agency has not disclosed a set budget and is looking for cost proposals from bidders. The agency requires all questions regarding this opportunity to be submitted no later than June 10, 2026.
