A government authority located in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking engineering services on an as-needed basis to improve its process control systems. The agency needs to solve operational inefficiencies by reviewing and assessing its existing process control system architectures and configurations. The selected vendor will provide recommendations for improvements, review and modify current programmable logic controllers (PLC) and human machine interface (HMI) programming standards, and review the functionality of current control algorithms. The scope of work also covers the review of communication system architectures and protocols, programming of PLC and HMI systems, and performance of startup activities. These startup activities include loop checks, validation of equipment control, and process control functionality testing. The agency also requires the delivery of control system documentation and training as needed. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based solely in the United States. The agency requires all performance of the work to take place onsite in Phoenix. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals to determine the cost. The agency will hold a pre-bid meeting on June 2, 2026. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 5, 2026.
