Design Build Services

The City of Atlanta, Georgia is seeking design-build services to improve pedestrian safety and accessibility across its jurisdiction. The agency is attempting to solve pedestrian safety challenges by installing a mix of high-visibility crosswalks, signage, curb extensions, medians, refuge islands, rectangular rapid-flash beacons, and pedestrian hybrid beacons. The scope of work also requires the installation of sidewalks, curb ramps, and other accessibility features. The selected contractor must complete the design and construction of these improvements at up to 240 sites over a three-year timeframe. The agency is issuing an initial contract period of one year. All performance of the work must take place onsite in Atlanta. The agency limits eligibility to onshore bidders located within the United States. The budget is open, and the agency is looking for proposals to define the cost. Bidders must attend a pre-bid meeting on June 2, 2026, and submit all questions no later than June 9, 2026.
