Design Engineering Services

The Douglas County government authority located in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a qualified vendor to provide professional design engineering services. The agency needs to evaluate filter press selection assumptions and integration requirements to address its residuals management needs. To solve these engineering challenges, the selected vendor must identify design obstacles, constructability issues, and operational impacts through site visits and reviews of existing as-built drawings, equipment data, and operational information. The scope of work covers the development of process flow diagrams and piping and instrumentation diagrams. The agency requires the design of residuals feed, discharge, pumping, mechanical, and electrical systems, including piping design, supports, valves, pumps, and appurtenances. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based exclusively in the United States. The agency requires the selected vendor to perform all work offsite at the vendor's own office location.
