A government authority in Michigan is seeking a vendor to provide construction and building materials testing services. The selected provider will help the agency ensure structural integrity, safety, and compliance across its physical assets. The scope of work covers construction testing and observation services for foundation construction, earth retention systems, tieback and pile load testing, and subgrade soil or proof-rolling evaluation. Additionally, the agency requires services related to masonry, structural steel and precast concrete fabrication shops, roofing, environmental characterization, engineering consultation, expert witness testimony, laboratory testing, facility condition assessments, and materials evaluations. Geotechnical services are also required, including geotechnical evaluation and soil borings, foundation design, retaining wall design, specialized embankment design, and pavement design. Bidders must submit a comprehensive unit pricing list and fee schedule detailing hourly rates for personnel and drill crews, daily rates for equipment, field testing, test drilling, and other associated expenses. These expenses must account for mileage, local vehicle use, per diem meals, direct reimbursable expenses, subcontract expenses, equipment rental, and out-of-town expenses. All performance of the work must take place onsite at the designated agency locations. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States.
