Architectural and Engineering Services

The Seminole County Port Authority in Sanford, Florida, is seeking comprehensive professional architectural and engineering services for a new Indoor Sports Complex. The agency intends to solve the regional need for a multi-use indoor sports and event facility capable of supporting athletic tournaments, community programming, large-scale gatherings, and simultaneous event operations. The project scope covers planning, design, permitting, and construction administration for the entire facility. The planned facility encompasses indoor court and event hall spaces, outdoor beach volleyball courts, spectator and public support areas, and administrative and operations spaces. The project also requires food service and concession components, site parking and circulation improvements, utilities, landscaping, wayfinding signage, and related site infrastructure. Specifically, the agency is requesting architectural and engineering design, schedule development, code and regulatory coordination, construction document preparation, permitting support, civil/site planning and design, parking strategy analysis, traffic study coordination, and construction administration through final project completion. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The selected vendor must perform the work onsite in Sanford, Florida. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals to determine the cost of the project. The agency will host a pre-bid meeting on May 22, 2026. Bidders must submit all questions regarding the opportunity no later than June 7, 2026.
