Design Engineering Services

The Town of Colchester, Vermont is seeking a design engineering consultant to develop a base map and prepare the final construction design for a local roadway project. The agency is trying to solve the problem of finalizing construction plans by utilizing existing municipal records to map out the current Right-of-Way limits. The municipality will support this effort by providing all available roadway plans, land records, property deeds, and tax maps on file for the properties within the project limits. The scope of work requires the consultant to develop the base map showing approximate Right-of-Way limits and to prepare the final construction design of the project. This final design must include complete final plans, an updated construction cost estimate, and draft special provisions. The selected contractor must perform all work onsite at the project location in Vermont. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency has not disclosed a set budget and is looking for cost proposals from interested bidders to determine the project funding. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 08, 2026.
