Construction Management At-Risk Services

The City of Cedar Rapids, Iowa is seeking a qualified vendor to provide construction management at-risk services. The selected partner will manage preconstruction services, which encompass constructability reviews, value engineering, estimating, and scheduling activities. The agency requires the development of a Construction Emergency Response Plan, a Site Safety Plan, an Environmental Management Plan, and a Quality Assurance and Quality Control Plan that includes document management and storage procedures. The scope of work also requires the coordination of construction sequencing and trade packages, as well as the identification of long-lead equipment procurement items. The agency expects the provider to generate and maintain a detailed project schedule and communicate any schedule changes directly to the City. All performance of the work must occur onsite in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to establish the budget for this project. Bidders must submit their responses digitally via email or online.
