Sexual Assault kits Supply

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department in Alhambra, California is seeking a vendor to supply six thousand California Department of Justice sexual assault kits. The agency provides these kits to client law enforcement agencies to collect forensic evidence from victims of sexual assault. The contract period for this procurement will be for one year. Each kit must consist of one ten-inch by thirteen-inch expandable envelope made of durable white paper, which must be printed, labeled, filled with all remaining kit items, and pre-sealed with an integrity seal. Inside the envelope, the vendor must provide seventeen sealed packages of cotton-tipped six-inch sterile wooden swabs, with each package containing two swabs. The kit must also contain one five-inch by seven-and-a-half-inch envelope with a non-gummed closure labeled Body Hair Evidence, one five-inch by eleven-inch white paper bag labeled Underpants, one piece of red evidence tape seal measuring eleven to twelve inches long, and six barcode label stickers measuring one inch by two inches printed with the sequential kit number. Only organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency requires the performance of the work to take place offsite. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this procurement no later than June 12, 2026, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget.
