Professional Land Use Plan Review and Construction Inspections Services

The City of Somersworth, New Hampshire, is seeking professional land use plan review and construction inspection services. The municipality requires these services to ensure that submitted subdivision and site plans conform to all local, state, and federal ordinances and regulations. Through this contract, the city aims to identify missing, incorrect, or incomplete application information and secure recommendations that help projects meet or exceed municipal standards. The scope of work covers professional engineering reviews of submitted plans, including detailed evaluations of soils information, storm water drainage, roadway design, utility layout, landscaping, traffic studies, parking studies, and architectural elevations. The selected partner must also conduct field inspections of proposed sites and provide ongoing construction field inspections and project oversight. Additionally, the inspector must remain available to consult with developers and site contractors throughout the construction process. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The city expects the plan review portion of the work to be performed offsite. The municipality has not disclosed a specific budget and is currently looking for proposals to determine the cost of these services.
