Engineering Consulting Services

The City of La Vista, Nebraska, is seeking engineering consulting services to support a new municipal project. The agency requires a partner to establish the existing site conditions, including topography, utilities, property lines, and easements, and to conduct pick-up surveys as needed during the design phase. Additionally, the selected consultant must perform geotechnical exploration to determine subsurface conditions and foundation suitability, culminating in a comprehensive geotechnical report with preliminary recommendations and bore logs. The scope of work requires the consultant to review and integrate all available city reports, plans, maps, and studies into the design process. The agency expects complete primary and final design services spanning the conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction document phases. The chosen provider must also facilitate progress meetings with city regulatory bodies and other relevant agencies, as well as deliver status updates during at least one city council meeting. Only organizations based onshore within the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency expects the performance of the engineering and design work to occur offsite. The city has not disclosed a specific budget and is currently looking for cost proposals from interested bidders.
