The Public Health Community Leadership Sector Development Services

The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is seeking a contractor to provide public health community leadership sector development services in Long Island City, New York. The agency requires a partner to strengthen community-level preparedness and response capabilities for public health emergencies. This initiative aims to establish a resilient network of local organizations that can rapidly coordinate and communicate during crises. The scope of work requires the contractor to train other organizations to prepare for and respond to public health emergencies. Although the daily performance of the work is offsite, the contractor must have or have access to an office space within the specified geographic zone to ensure local coordination and physical presence within twenty-four hours during emergencies. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based entirely in the United States. The agency requires bidders to possess the dual capability of working and communicating with community partners remotely while maintaining a physical readiness framework for the designated zone. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is seeking competitive cost proposals from bidders. The contract term will span a period of five years.
