Engagement and Alliance Training Services

The Ohio-based government authority is seeking a vendor to provide engagement and alliance training services focused on evidence-based practices. These practices must create therapeutic alliances and trusting relationships with individuals suffering from severe mental illness. The training aims to build and strengthen mutual respect to help non-adherent or partially adherent individuals become more cooperative and engaged in treatment and services, including medication, psychotherapy, psychosocial programs, club houses, peer-support, and supervised housing. The requested course must focus on the perceived problems of the individual, increased functioning, keeping stakeholders engaged, and shaping common goals to work on together. The training must emphasize science-based education about anosognosia, recognition of symptoms and risk of violence of serious mental illness, suicide awareness, treatment compliance, therapeutic alliance, and research on helping individuals with serious mental illness engage in treatment and services. The agency requires two one-day, in-person, train-the-trainer certification sessions and all necessary training materials. Only organizations based onshore in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The selected vendor will perform the work offsite, with the exception of the in-person training sessions. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposal submissions to determine the budget.
