Teachers of Tomorrow Program Services

The New York government authority is seeking a vendor to provide Teachers of Tomorrow program services to address teacher and subject shortages, particularly in districts with low-performing schools. The program aims to offer a variety of incentives to encourage prospective teachers to teach in these high-need areas. For the 2025-26 period, the designated shortage subject areas include Career and Technical Education (7-12), Language Arts (7-12), Library/Media Specialist (Pre-K-12), Mathematics (7-12), Sciences (7-12), and Special Education (7-12). The scope of work covers two distinct programs. Program One involves distributing grant funds on a competitive basis to eligible districts to fund recruitment and retention activities. Program Two allocates tuition reimbursement funds to eligible districts to attract qualified teachers who hold or will receive a transitional teaching certificate to teach science, mathematics, bilingual education, and English as a new language in low-performing schools. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based solely in the United States. The agency requires the performance of all work to be conducted offsite. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or through an online submission portal, and the agency is currently looking for budget proposals to determine the contract value. The agency has established key deadlines for this procurement process. Bidders must submit all questions regarding the opportunity no later than June 5, 2026. The Notice of Intent to bid is due to the agency on June 17, 2026.
