Health, Workforce and Education Programming Services

The City of Providence Department of Recreation is seeking a vendor to provide health, workforce, and education programming services. The department intends for this funding to supplement existing funding sources for existing programs rather than fully funding a new operation. Supported projects must directly benefit residents in areas adjacent to the three designated centers and must focus on directly enabling health, workforce, and K-12 education. The agency prioritizes organizations that possess existing staff, structure, and programming. Eligible bidders must be onshore United States organizations. The selected vendor will perform all work offsite over a one-year contract period. The scope of work requires the vendor to attend regular program-related meetings with department staff. The vendor must submit bi-monthly line-item reimbursement invoices with appropriate backup documentation to the department. Additionally, the department requires semi-annual reports on activities, progress, and outcomes, alongside a final report detailing outcomes, successes, barriers, and future recommendations. The department is looking for proposals to establish the budget, noting that the funding range will reflect the supplemental nature of the award. Bidders may attend a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting on June 2, 2026. Bidders must submit all questions by June 8, 2026, and may submit their final responses digitally via email or online.
