Special Education Teachers and Special Education Paraprofessionals Services

The Dougherty County School System in Albany, Georgia is seeking qualified vendors to provide special education teachers and special education paraprofessionals. The agency needs these professionals to deliver instruction, accommodations, and support for students with disabilities in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs. This initiative aims to ensure that students with disabilities can benefit from the general education curriculum to the greatest extent possible when supported. The requested scope of work requires special education teachers to conduct IEP meetings, collaborate with general education teachers and other staff, and develop and implement IEP plans. Special education paraprofessionals must assist, support, and work closely with teachers, administrators, and other team members to provide instructional or behavioral support to students.
