The City of Fort Pierce, Florida, is seeking certified public accountants to audit its financial statements and those of its component units for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026. The agency requires the auditor to express an opinion on the fair presentation of its governmental activities, business-type activities, aggregate discretely presented component units, each major fund, and aggregate remaining fund information in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles. The agency is offering a contract period of three years, with an option to audit the financial statements for each of the four subsequent fiscal years.
