Engagement and Alliance Training Services

The Ohio-based government authority is seeking a vendor to provide engagement and alliance training services focused on evidence-based practices. This training must help staff build therapeutic alliances and trusting relationships with individuals suffering from severe mental illness. The primary goal is to help non-adherent or partially adherent individuals become more cooperative and engaged in treatment, including medication, psychotherapy, peer-support, and supervised housing. The requested course must focus on the perceived problems of the individual, increased functioning, stakeholder engagement, and the shaping of common goals. The curriculum must emphasize science-based education regarding anosognosia, symptom recognition, violence risk in serious mental illness, suicide awareness, treatment compliance, and therapeutic alliance. The selected provider must deliver two one-day, in-person, train-the-trainer certification sessions and supply all necessary training materials. Eligible bidders must be United States organizations, and the performance of the work will take place offsite. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposal submissions to determine the budget.
