Backflow Devices Testing, Certification and Parts Services

Volusia County in DeLand, Florida is seeking a qualified contractor to provide countywide backflow prevention device inspection, testing, certification, maintenance, repair, and installation services. The agency needs to ensure the proper functioning of water protection systems across various county-owned facilities. This project addresses the ongoing requirement for annual testing of double check valves, pressure vacuum breakers, and reduced pressure zone devices, as well as the diagnosis and repair of malfunctioning equipment. The scope of work covers the complete maintenance lifecycle of the devices, including the installation or replacement of backflow devices and reclaimed water systems. The agency is establishing a contract period that will span three years. Performance of all contracted work must take place onsite at the designated county facilities.
