Water Testing Laboratory Services

The Mississippi Bureau of Public Water Supply is seeking a private laboratory to provide analytical water testing services for specified community public water systems. The selected vendor must resolve logistical challenges by providing written collection and shipping instructions that clearly specify the scheduled sample collection week to the participating systems. The agency requires the delivery of all analytical data in both electronic and hard copy formats. The scope of work covers the delivery of final reports containing specific data points. These reports must include the report title, laboratory contact information, report number, client contact information, sample identification, and sample collection date and time. Additionally, the documentation must detail the sample receipt date and time, sample preparation and analysis date and time, analyst initials, test method, notations identifying any method deviations, test results, test reporting units, calculated sample uncertainty if applicable, and minimum detectable limit documentation. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations located within the United States. The agency requires the performance of all analytical work to occur offsite. The Bureau has not disclosed a set budget and is looking for proposals to determine the cost of these services. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 4, 2026.
