Materials Testing Services

The City of Wilmington, North Carolina, is seeking a qualified materials testing firm to provide comprehensive testing and inspection services. The agency requires these services to ensure construction materials meet regulatory standards and project specifications. The scope of work covers soils testing for percent compaction and classification, pavement testing for thickness and density, and concrete testing for composition, temperature, slump, shrinkage, and strength. The selected provider must also perform structural steel, weld, and torque inspections, along with any additional specialty inspections required by the building code. Only organizations based in the United States are eligible to submit proposals for this opportunity. The agency expects the performance of the work to take place offsite.
