The Taney County government authority in Forsyth, Missouri is seeking a vendor to provide on-site alcohol and drug collection and testing services. The agency needs to solve the problem of maintaining a drug-free workplace and complying with testing mandates for county employees. The project covers testing for county agency employees who hold a commercial driver's license, as well as pre-employment, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, return to duty, and follow-up testing for county personnel. The scope of work requires the selected vendor to conduct post-accident drug and alcohol testing for any county employee and pre-employment drug testing for any prospective or new hire. The provider must deliver these services on an as-needed basis, twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week, including federal and state holidays. Additionally, the vendor must perform alcohol testing services, provide a five-panel drug screen using current procedures, and develop and administer protocols for mandated random drug and alcohol testing. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. While the collection and testing services are described as on-site for the county, the overall performance of the contract work is designated as offsite. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals to determine costs.
