Canine Drug Detection Services

The Horry County Schools district in Conway, South Carolina requires comprehensive canine drug detection services to maintain a safe environment for students and staff. The agency is seeking a contractor to provide all supervision, labor, trained canines, handlers, equipment, materials, supplies, training, and technical support necessary to perform these services. The selected provider must deliver a minimum of 1,500 service hours annually over a one-year contract period. The agency requires that all utilized canines be non-aggressive, controlled, and capable of operating safely around students and staff. Upon request, the contractor must provide drug awareness training for staff, students, and parents. The contractor must also furnish documentation demonstrating qualifications, including proof of insurance, business licenses, organizational certifications, professional certifications, and required permits. Bidders must provide documentation demonstrating current certification of both canines and handlers through nationally recognized or law enforcement-accepted organizations. Eligibility is restricted to onshore providers within the United States, and the performance of the work will be offsite.
