Bus Operator Uniforms and Supervisory Unit Service

The San Mateo County Transit District in Millbrae, California is seeking a vendor to provide bus operator uniforms and supervisory unit services. The agency needs to supply its transit staff with specific apparel items to ensure a professional and standardized appearance. The contract period for these services will be for one year. The scope of work requires the delivery of specific quantities and brands of apparel. The agency requires one Spiewak Weatherteck Duty jacket per operator. Additional eligible items in the program include Port Authority Ranger 3-N-1 Jackets, Red Kap Transportation Heavyweight Parkas, Edwards Soft Shell Vests, A+ Unisex Heavyweight Zip-Front Crewneck Transit Cardigans, Edwards V-Neck Sweater Vests, Spiewak Microfiber Poly Internal Cargo Duty Shorts, and Elbeco Tek3 Women’s Poly/Cotton Twill Cargo Shorts. The order also covers Rothco Wool Monty Berets, Otto Knit Beanie Caps, New Era Adjustable Structured Caps, socks, leather belts, Cherokee Maternity Straight Leg Pants, and Edwards Maternity Blouses. Bidders must perform all work offsite and must be located onshore within the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this procurement. A pre-bid meeting will take place on June 8, 2026, and bidders must submit all questions no later than June 15, 2026.
