Inmate Medical, Dental, and Mental Health Services

The government authority located in Golden, Colorado requires a comprehensive, twenty-four-hour, seven-day-a-week medical program for inmates. The agency needs a qualified provider to deliver all medical, dental, and mental health care, with the exception of alternative sentencing program inmates who receive only emergency care while in the facility. The selected provider must ensure the healthcare system respects inmate rights to basic healthcare and utilizes only licensed, certified, and professionally trained personnel. The scope of work covers daily assessments and evaluations during specific hours, as well as chronic care for inmates with long-term health conditions or illnesses. The provider must also coordinate, implement, and assess a suicide and self-injury prevention program. All contracted services will be performed offsite. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget, and bidders may submit their responses digitally via email or online. The agency has scheduled a pre-bid meeting for July 1, 2026, and requires all questions to be submitted no later than July 9, 2026.
