Professional Psychiatric Physician Services

The Fort Yuma Indian Health Center in Winterhaven, California is seeking professional psychiatric physician services to support its healthcare facility. The agency requires these services to ensure patients receive timely psychiatric care, medication reviews, interviews, assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up care that align with the Service Unit Medical By-Laws. The selected physician must also provide phone consultations to the service unit medical staff as needed and submit monthly clinical status reports for each patient seen. The scope of work requires the physician to perform services offsite, despite the primary location of the health center. The physician must complete all medical records in a timely fashion and possess fluency in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing English. Additionally, the agency requires the physician to be proficient in typing and have a basic working knowledge of computer hardware and software applications.
