The Lakeland, Florida government authority is seeking a qualified legal services provider to advise on compliance with existing state and federal laws and to issue advisory memorandums regarding proposed and new laws. The selected provider will deliver legal advice, counsel, consultation, and opinions in person, virtually, by telephone, email, or in writing. Additionally, the provider must counsel and participate in other legal affairs of interest to the operation, maintain knowledge of issues facing transit, and offer legal opinions. The scope of work covers general legal advice, customary legal services, and the preparation, review, consultation, and approval of contracts and agreements on an as-needed basis. Bidders must be United States organizations to meet the onshore eligibility requirement. The work can be performed either onsite in Lakeland or offsite, and the final contract will span a three-year period. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and will accept digital submissions via email or online. A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for June 25, 2026.
