Workers Compensation Third Party Administrator and Managed Care Service

The school district is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive workers' compensation third-party administration and managed-care cost containment services for its self-insured program. The agency needs to solve the challenge of managing claims from first notice through final resolution, payment, or closure while controlling medical costs and reducing litigation exposure. The selected partner will coordinate communications between injured workers, district personnel, medical providers, and attorneys, while actively pursuing subrogation and fraud investigations. The scope of work covers claims intake, disability and return-to-work management, medical bill review, repricing, and network management. The agency requires the utilization of electronic systems to support real-time claim access, data reporting, and risk management analytics to support safety initiatives. Additional responsibilities include litigation management, financial administration, excess and regulatory reporting, and advisory support services. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency expects the selected vendor to perform all work offsite. The contract period will span one year, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget.
