Independent Auditing Services

The Virgin Islands Housing Authority, located in Christiansted, VI, is seeking independent auditing services for the fiscal years ending September 30, 2026, September 30, 2027, and September 30, 2028. The agency needs to solve the problem of ensuring its financial statements are free from material misstatement and properly audited by an objective third party. The scope of work requires auditing the agency's financial statements, including the related notes and required supplementary information, in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America. The selected auditor must perform the audit in accordance with Government Auditing Standards, express an opinion on the financial statements, and perform all procedures necessary to obtain reasonable assurance of financial accuracy. The performance of this work will take place offsite. Eligibility is restricted to onshore, USA-only organizations. The agency is looking for proposal submissions to determine the budget, and bidders can submit their responses digitally via email or online. All questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted no later than June 19, 2026.
