Auditing Services

The City of Winter Springs, Florida is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive auditing services for its municipal operations. The City operates on a fiscal year commencing October 1st and ending September 30th, encompassing diverse public services. These services include police, street and bridge construction, parks and recreation, city planning, water and sewer utilities, and residential solid waste collection. The selected auditor must evaluate and report on the fair presentation of the City's financial statements in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles. The scope of work requires compliance with the rules adopted by the State of Florida Auditor General for the form and content of local governmental entity audits. Additionally, the agency requires a report on the internal control structure based on the auditor's understanding of the internal control structure and assessment of control risk. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires all performance of the work to be conducted offsite at the vendor's own office location. Bidders must submit any questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 19, 2026. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is currently looking for proposals to determine the cost of these auditing services.
